Everloving God,
your care for us is greater
even than a mother’s love for her child;
teach us to value a mother’s love
and see in it an expression of your grace,
that we may ever feel more deeply your love for us
in Christ Jesus our Saviour.

Prayer
Our Father in heaven,
the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
For the Lord is a gracious God,
whose mercy is everlasting:
and whose faithfulness endures
from generation to generation.
Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom,
thanksgiving and honour, power and might,
be to our God for ever and ever!
