Prayer
Blessèd are you, Sovereign God, ruler of the nations,
to you be glory and praise for ever!
From the rising of the sun to its setting
your name is proclaimed in all the world.
As the Sun of Righteousness dawns in our hearts,
anoint our lips with the seal of your Spirit
that we may witness to your gospel
and sing your praise in all the world,
Creator, Redeemer, and Giver of Life:
Blessèd be God for ever!
Psalm 110:1-4
- The Lord said to my lord:'Sit at my right hand,
until I make your enemies your footstool.' - From the holy mountain the Lord hand you the sceptre of power:
saying, 'Rule in the midst of your enemies.' - On the day of your power your people shall willingly offer themselves:
in holy array they will come to you like dew at the birth of the morning. - The Lord has sworn an oath that will never be retracted:
'You are a priest for ever in the line of Melchizedek.'

Please remember our Prayer Requests
Lord, send us your loving-kindness in the morning
and so shall we rejoice and be glad.
Lord, have mercy. E te Ariki, kia aroha mai.
Let not the oppressed turn away ashamed;
let the poor and needy praise your name.
Christ, have mercy. E te Karaiti, kia aroha mai.
Teach us your ways, O Lord,
and we will walk in your truth.
Lord, have mercy. E te Ariki, kia aroha mai.
Amen.
